These Terms of Service govern your use of housewrightshop.com and any purchase from The Housewright Shop, 890 S Fort Valley Rd, Fort Valley, VA 22652. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to provide accurate and complete information at checkout.

2. Products & Descriptions

We aim to describe our products accurately, including species, dimensions and package contents. Wood is a natural material: grain, color, figure and moisture response vary between pieces and may change with humidity, storage or machining. Photos are representative and may not match the exact item you receive. These natural variations are not defects.

3. Pricing & Availability

All prices are in US Dollars and exclude applicable sales tax and shipping unless stated. Prices and availability may change without notice. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or becomes unavailable, we will contact you and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the items. We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors or stock limits. If we cancel after payment, we refund you in full.

5. Payment

Payment is due at checkout by an accepted method listed in our Payment Policy.

6. Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of these terms. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier’s confirmed delivery address.

7. Safe Use of Products

Woodworking materials and hardware should be used with proper tools, safety equipment and installation practices. Cutting, sanding or machining wood produces dust; use dust collection and respiratory protection. Install hardware according to its specifications and load ratings. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse, improper installation or use beyond stated ratings.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos and product descriptions, belongs to The Housewright Shop and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Housewright Shop is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
