Accepted Payment Methods
The Housewright Shop accepts the following payment methods for online orders:

Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Shop Pay: Shopify's accelerated checkout, including Shop Pay Installments where eligible.
We do not accept cash on delivery, personal checks or bank transfers for online orders.
Currency
All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD). We currently ship to addresses within the United States only.
When Your Card Is Charged
Your payment method is authorized and charged when you place your order. After checkout, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order number and payment summary.
Payment Security
Payments are processed through the secure checkout system provided by Shopify and its supported payment providers. Your payment information is handled through the payment processing system and is not used by The Housewright Shop for unrelated purposes.
Taxes
Applicable state and local sales taxes are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Any applicable tax will be displayed before you confirm your payment.
Declined Payments
If your payment is declined, check that your card details and billing address are correct. You may also need to contact your card issuer for assistance.
We cannot process or ship an order until payment has been successfully approved.
Order Verification
To help protect customers and prevent fraudulent transactions, we may review certain orders before shipping.
If additional information is needed, we will contact you by email. If an order cannot be verified, we may cancel it and issue a full refund to the original payment method.
Pricing Errors
We make every effort to keep product pricing accurate. If an item is listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before shipping and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. For eligibility requirements and refund timelines, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.
