This house is an older log home along Valley Pike also know as the old Indian trail and now Rt 11. It features wide plank antique flooring 10-14 inches wide. Three by eight inch floor joist white washed. The logs notching is what is called the saddle notch and have nice wide faces ranging from 10 to 14 inches. It also had wide antique plank paneling. It would make a beautiful reclaimed addition or stand alone home. This house dates to the early 1800,s and is a fine example of the old German craftsmanship. Its located North of Edinburg VA and only 90 minutes from Washington DC and Northern Virginia area and surrounding Baltimore area.
